Objectives<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of the Society is to promote the increase and diffusion of all aspects of knowledge relating to tropical agriculture. Tropical agriculture in the broadest sense will include the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Agricultural Chemistry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agricultural Economics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agricultural Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agricultural Engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agronomy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Animal Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultural Anthropology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food Processing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forestry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Horticulture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International Cooperation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rural Sociology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-vk-heading-both_ends has-vk-color-custom-1-color has-text-color has-link-color has-large-font-size wp-elements-0936bffa67f3ecbfdd96461ca51404f6\"><span class=\"vk-heading__text-wrapper\">2. Activities<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The society shall pursue the following to achive us objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To hold annual meetings and academic meetings where members of the society can report the findings of their studies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To publish the society&#8217;s journal and other publications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-vk-heading-both_ends has-vk-color-custom-1-color has-text-color has-link-color has-large-font-size wp-elements-a253af67690259e75199408fa9c8c980\"><span class=\"vk-heading__text-wrapper\">3. Awards<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Society has established three awards. These awards shall be awarded each year to those members of the society who have contributed significantly to the development of tropical agriculture or have made outstanding achievements in the field of tropical agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-vk-heading-both_ends has-vk-color-custom-1-color has-text-color has-link-color has-large-font-size wp-elements-d27889c7c07ba274b0173ed27350e555\" id=\"membership\"><span class=\"vk-heading__text-wrapper\">4. Membership<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The Society has the following types:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Individual\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full \u00a58,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student \u00a54,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreigner \u00a53,000<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organization \u00a521,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting \u00a530,000<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A \u201cfull member\u201d is one in complete accord with the society\u2019s goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A \u201cstudent member\u201d is one who desires to join the society as a student belonging to an educational institution (except foreigner).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A \u201cforeigner member\u201d should have own citizenship (including student).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An \u201corganization member\u201d may be a group, organization or an individual with an intention to support the Society\u2019s objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-vk-heading-both_ends has-vk-color-custom-1-color has-text-color has-link-color has-large-font-size wp-elements-b1d521dac5bcbfa96563008691c93b1f\"><span class=\"vk-heading__text-wrapper\">5.
